The LZ World Tour stop in New Jersey brought us back to the roots. A true father and son trip filled with long drives, late nights, and real challenges. Just days before leaving, we lost our lead mechanic Adrian Fajardo to an unexpected injury, forcing the GR86 to hit the track without him for the first time.

We adapted quickly, putting in the work alongside friends and partners to get the car dialed. After finding our groove in practice, a transmission failure set us back, leading to a full overnight repair with help from the Hunt & Co. crew. By main event day, another issue in the clutch system ended our chances to qualify.

While the results did not reflect the effort, the weekend was still a win in many ways. Strong connections across the industry, meaningful conversations, and a reminder of why we do this. Tough racing, but a full circle moment that meant more than the race results.
